180 Degree Digital Thermostat Kit
The Traeger Digital Temperature control has made smoking food as easy as 1,2,3. When operating in regular smoke mode the auger will cycle on for 15 seconds and off for 65 seconds. The factory preset is for temperature ranging 150 to 180 degrees F. The Factory preset is P2. To increase the smoke temperature you set the digital smoke setting to P1 or P0, to decrease the smoke temperature you set it at P3 up to P9. Geographic, ambient outdoor temperature, and humidity will affect your personal settings so please experiment to gauge you temperature range. 180 degrees is the first preset setting after smoke.
